The UNC Health Wayne Diabetes HealthCheck Program is dedicated to improving the health and wellness of Wayne County by promoting healthy lifestyles and preventing type 2 diabetes. The Diabetes HealthCheck Program offers free diabetes screening and education to the people of Wayne County where they live, work, play, and pray. Our services are primarily targeted toward adults 18 years and older and are provided in a confidential and supportive environment.
